Anyone eligible for NHS care can be seen at the Oxford Heart Centre providing they have a referral from their GP. A referral from another NHS consultant is an appropriate alternative in most circumstances. Patients from Wales may need to have prior approval from their Primary Care Trust.
Referrals can be generic and addressed to any of the cardiologists who specialise in arrhythmia care, or directed to specific consultants.

Anyone who is privately insured or self-funding can arrange an outpatient appointment at the Nuffield Manor Hospital and have treatment at the Oxford Heart Centre. Insured patients will usually require a referral letter from their GP or another specialist. It is also possible to self-refer and self-fund.
